Figaro 2 incorporates input and output compression functions and an adaptive Active Noise Reduction System, which means that while you will be able to hear soft sounds, excessively loud sounds won’t inhibit your listening enjoyment. Anti-phase Feedback Cancellation reduces “whistling” without impacting amplification. The addition of an optional directional microphone, if appropriate for your hearing loss, may significantly improve your ability to understand speech in noisy situations.

Figaro 2 also offers user-friendly features such as multiple memory functions for ease of listening in different situations, a beep to signal when you change memory function and another to signal when your instrument’s battery needs replacing. Adding a programmable telecoil – switchless or standard – may make telephone use easier.
